Is it Wednesday again? This one kind a snuck up on me. Last week, a day after we rescheduled our "Preparing for Referral and Travel" meeting we received the package. As for now we're scheduled for the meeting next Tuesday the 28th. I read through the package and it is so informative. The orphanage offers a guesthouse where one can stay and gets three meals a day, transportation is provided etc etc. It's $ 1000 a week (for both plus child), but compared to having to stay at a hotel and eat our three times a day and organize your own trips to embassies and courts and who knows where else you have to go, equals about the same amount. So we'll see.
As for now - we're just still waiting..........and wait..do some more waiting around......and then wait some more :-)
A blog pal one that lives in our neighbor country (Austria) received their referral last week. They only waited 1 month and a week (?). That's just wonderful and gives hope to us all waiting. Of course every adoption is unique and has it's own time lines, but it's till nice to hear of short (er) waiting times.
