Wednesday Adoption Fact - Week # 53
here we are - another Wednesday. The package for our "Preparing for Referral and Travel" has not made it in. Agency will send it out via DHL tomorrow and reschedule our meeting (conference call) once more. Got to thinking last night about "Change of Attitudes toward Referrals". Of course we all do get excited about finally getting to meet our children and have them referred to us, but what is the story behind that. After all, a mother had to abandon or relinquish her child/baby in order for us being able to adopt "her" child. If there would be less referrals, it would mean more children would stay with their biological parents - which after all would be the optimum. Anyhow, for some odd reason i started to feel 'guilty" about the excitement of an imminent referral......

so if we are doing a call and getting a book about travel are we traveling soon?

If we do get a call - which i hope and pray is soon, but after all it's GODs timing, we will have to travel soon and do our pre-visit, which is a requirement in order to obtain an IR-3 to have uncomplicated entry into Germany. Our agency is just getting one prepared once the call comes in, what the further procedures are and what to expect once you get to the country. As for now, we're still waiting so :-(
