Wednesday Adoption Fact - Week # 46

OK, this crazy computer wont let me put the country fact on the bottom so I will do that first this time. If you ever go to the country and want Coffee, this is what you will get :-)

Now here the update for this week:

So here we are wondering. Currently there are way to many rumors going around about the present situation in our adoption country. You hear things from the ban in courts have temporarily been lifted and adoption cases are being heard to "now the ban affects more then just one city and they extended the ban to other orphanages as well and EVERY case of abandonment will not be heard nor proceeded until they figured out a way on how to get a handle on their situation". What to do? Our Dossier along with a huge check has been in the hand of our agency for over a week now, but we have not heard back from them nor did they cash our check. Are they waiting it out until we know anything new and then go on with our case? Is it normal that they don't cash the check for that long and we do not hear anything if our paperwork was all OK? To many questions. What if they completely close this program, what country would we chose then, or better will there be any country we could choose from while stationed overseas? This is so frustrating - ugh. Anyhow, those are the news for this week. We will stay course until we hear word that it is impossible to proceed and go from there. We changed countries before, we were just not that far advanced last time (from Guatemala to Vietnam - both closed for inter country adoptions now by the way).

ADD ON:
Wrote agency an e-mail about what they think.

It's been too long since I've visited this blog to see what's going on! I scrolled down and viewed all of your clues/facts.
Took one look at the plate of food and got really excited! LOL
Would LOVE to adopt a baby from this country!!! I've even suggested the idea just recently since Allie is doing so well and seems fully adjusted. But I think 4 is our lucky number, or 6 rather... Hubby seems to think our family is complete.
I'm very excited for your family!
