Wednesday Adoption Fact - Week # 47

We called our agency Friday since we had several questions about a check, our Dossier and the current developments in our adoption country. We talked to Miss T. for about half an hour, but she couldn't answer all of our questions, especially the financial one since the bookkeeper wasn't in that Friday. We hung up and about 30 minutes later I checked my e-mail to find a message stating "Dossier Sent". I thought first it was spam, but then opened it and it stated:

Dear Jesse and Melanie,

your Dossier was sent to A***** today. your tracking number is ******. As of TODAY you're officially waiting to be matched. The matching process generally takes between 4-6 months, but now since your Dossier has been submitted you could be matched any time........(excerpt)

Our Dossier had a long trip, but it made it to our destination in 3 1/2 days - WOW
Not to mention I stalked the DHL Tracker the whole weekend and on Sunday our Dossier had a short layover here in Germany :-)

COUNTRY FACT:

There are an estimated 6 million orphans (age 0-17) in this country and USA adopted 1725 children from this country in 2008
