today at noon we should find out whether we will fly to Ethiopia as scheduled or of if we have to reschedule - and yes, reschedule because of "expired" fingerprints.
I have to trust our heavenly Father that He has His perfect plan and I will not pray that we will get good news and get to fly, but rather pray that what ever the outcome will be this afternoon, that we will be content, patient and wise.
Will keep y'all posted....
UPDATE:
one hour after I posted the last entry we (yes, we received a call from immigration!!!) were told that our fingerprints got extended, a new I-171 (immigration approval) is en route to our home and an FBI extension clearance was faxed to the Us Embassy in Ethiopia.
Praise the LORD!!!

13th March 2009- Homestudy for Multicultural Class Attachment and update of HS
27th March 2009 - Homestudy was Denied by USCIS - needs to be re-written. UGH!!!! This never ends
8th April 2009 - Received new draft of HS - looks good
4th May 2009- Received new HS and sent off to USCIS
12th May 2009 - Received H-171 (immigration approval)
13th May 2009 - Got EVERYTHING notarized and sent off to agency
19th May 2009 - dossier reviewed by agency and sent off to WA for authentication
29th May 2009 - Received DHL Tracking number from our agency of dossier on its way to chosen country - YEAH!!!
29th June 2009 - 1 month since put on the waiting list
28th July 2009 - Conference Call with Agency about "Preparing for Referral and Travel"
29th July 2009 - 2 months since put on the waiting list
29th August 2009 - 3 months since put on the waiting list
29th September 2009 - 4 months since put on the waiting list
21st October 2009 -( after 4 months, 3 weeks and one day) REFERRAL !!!!!!
6th-11th November 2009- pre-visit to our little chunk of love :-)
21st November 2009 - received court date of 16th of December 2009
16th December 2009 - we passed court!! Yochana Dursitu is legally ours praise the Lord!!!
29th December 2009 - received Embassy Appointment
4th February 2010 - Embassy Appointment
5th February 2010 - Yo is getting signed out of the orphanage
7th February 2010 - HOME!!!!!

Oh, so thankful to hear this. Praising God for His goodness. We've not yet heard anything on our paperwork. Hoping to hear from Dove today.

I'm so glad to hear that it's working out! We just got back home a couple of days ago and I'm catching up on blogs. Man, this was a big mess!
