It's been over a month since we received our referral and we haven't heard anything yet regarding court dates. I wonder if everything is OK with our paperwork and our baby.

June 2008 - discussed ET adoption with our SW/search for adoption agency
17th July 2008 - Made Request to Agency
31st July 2008- Requested update of our Homestudy
4th August 2008 - Sent in Application to Agency
4th September 2008 - Signed Contract
August 2008-January 2009 - Collecting numerous amounts of papers for Dossier
9th February 2009 - Received HS (yes, it took over 6 months due to issues with Hague, USCIS, Production Agencies etc etc, sigh)
10th February 2009- Applied for I-600A
13th March 2009- Homestudy for Multicultural Class Attachment and update of HS
27th March 2009 - Homestudy was Denied by USCIS - needs to be re-written. UGH!!!! This never ends
8th April 2009 - Received new draft of HS - looks good
4th May 2009- Received new HS and sent off to USCIS
12th May 2009 - Received H-171 (immigration approval)
13th May 2009 - Got EVERYTHING notarized and sent off to agency
19th May 2009 - dossier reviewed by agency and sent off to WA for authentication
29th May 2009 - Received DHL Tracking number from our agency of dossier on its way to chosen country - YEAH!!!
29th June 2009 - 1 month since put on the waiting list
28th July 2009 - Conference Call with Agency about "Preparing for Referral and Travel"
29th July 2009 - 2 months since put on the waiting list
29th August 2009 - 3 months since put on the waiting list
29th September 2009 - 4 months since put on the waiting list
21st October 2009 -( after 4 months, 3 weeks and one day) REFERRAL !!!!!!
6th-11th November 2009- pre-visit to our little chunk of love :-)
21st November 2009 - received court date of 16th of December 2009
16th December 2009 - we passed court!! Yochana Dursitu is legally ours praise the Lord!!!
29th December 2009 - received Embassy Appointment
4th February 2010 - Embassy Appointment
5th February 2010 - Yo is getting signed out of the orphanage
7th February 2010 - HOME!!!!!

Phillipian 4:6-7:) I'm sure your paperwork is fine, just sitting waiting for the backlog to open up...and your baby is perfect and precious!!! God has them all in His hands watching over them!
I'm behind but I finally read all your updates, I'm so happy for you and impressed with the adventure you've been through and how you handled everything. I hope your get your court date very soon. Sending positive thoughts your way.

I KNOW how hard it is too wait. We're getting more and more excited for the court date. We had our meeting with Dove last evening. It was great to talk with them. They truly are just the sweetest people.
It will come. I don't know when, but it will come :-)
