We're slowly approaching our referral window ( 6 more days and we hit 4 months).
Lately there has been a lot of discussion about child harvesting in our chosen country of adoption, and one very popular Christian agency was put in a really bad picture. If ALL of the allegations that were said against that specific agency are true, they ought to be punished, BUT from observing and watching various videos , news reports, and the accused agencies response, it is also questionable on how much the media has weaved together to make a"great" story, and put a bad light on the International adoption world. Newsflash - NOT all adoptions are fraudulent and corrupt. From my feeling and observations I'd say ONE out of 150-200 adoptions is flaky or something is/was questionable (includes age of children, medical condition etc, not only speaking about "harvesting" and trafficking).
Found a new picture on a french ladies blog. She took it back in 2006 when she adopted her child from that orphanage. It shows the orphanages kitchen.
I will never complain about my tight kitchen again - ever!
