Some of you may already know that we're in the process of adoption journey #3. Yes, we may be crazy, but that is the road God has planned for us. We actually started the process back in July 2008 when we made a request to our social worker to write an additional HS for our chosen country. In August we signed up with our new agency and singed agreement papers for a concurrent adoption. We're now in the month of February of 2009, our HS is complete, the I-600A was filed two days ago. We're now in the process to complete and finish our dossier. Yeah, practise makes perfect, hah.
This post was actually mainly set up as more of a private journal to keep track of our adoption journey, but everybody I personally know is more then welcome to follow along. We already experienced several bumps in our journey, but I guess that's all part of it, lol.
After much prayer we decided to make a request for another girl up to 18 month with/-out minor un/-correctable special needs. We once again are excited to see what God has in store for us this time.
The estimated waiting time after the dossier is submitted is around 9+ months with an additional 2-5 months after that for court procedures.
We're about 2-3 months out until our dossier is finished since we have to await our H-171 (country requirement before dossier is complete and you can be put on the waiting list). So all in all we still have quite a journey and/or time frame ahead of us.
